ROUND 5

I'm gonna get these questions up now cuz the coming week is crazy for me and I don't wanna hold anything up. I'll likely take a few days to tally Round 4 and the ASG GIG - my apologies.

Good luck with Round 5!

1) With 102 of 152 games in the books, it's crazy to still see a 0 in the "expanded2" column, but we have one! The Rum Runners have played 44 games in which they've taken a lead into the 8th inning and haven't lost yet. Honorable mention to the Great Auk, with just one loss in 54 games! Question: Will the Rum Runners take a loss in August? (Yes = 3 points, No = 2 points)

2) We have a couple modest win streaks going with two teams who still have playoff hopes...
The Landlubbers have won 5 in a row. Where does it end? (5 = 1 point, 6 = 2 points, 7 = 3 points, and so on)
The Hammers have won 4 in a row. Where does it end? (4 = 1 point, 5 = 2 points, 6 = 3 points, and so on)

3) What will your team's run differential be at the end of August (note: NOT your August RD, your total RD)? Nail it = 5 points. Within 5 = 2 points.

4) Interesting matchups between contending teams... We have the luck once again of ending a month with one game (of the typical 4-game series) having already been played, so we can call the next three games (August 1-3) "3 game sets" and pick winners. No sweeps this time, just pick the winners. 3 points per correct guess. The matchups between teams still hoping for the playoffs are:
Argos @ Thunder
Hammers @ Sea Wolves
Dogs @ Sweets
Auk @ Yetis

5) Up jumped the devil! Rey Lopez has taken over the ERA lead at 1.90 (and is the only sub-2 ERA starter in all of DMB), with Skenes (2.21) and Sale (2.56) both having sub-par (for their standards, anyway) July's. Interesting thing about Lopez: I think he has 2 starts left before I have to pull him for the rest of the regular season. He's gonna be right on the cusp of qualifying to be the ERA champ, me thinks.
a) Will his ERA stay under 2? (3 points)
b) Will any pitcher (Skenes is in 2nd) surpass him by the end of August? (Yes = 4, No = 2)

6) The Argos Yordan Alvarez has the best chance to win the triple crown - but it's a long shot. If Vegas were to give us odds, they'd be as slim as the Dogs' chances of winning an MSB crown anytime soon. But he's 1st in BA, 2nd in RBI (15 back), and 4th in HRs (8 back). No other hitter is in the top 10 in all three categories, let alone the top 5.
a) Does Alvarez remain in the top 5 of all three categories? (Yes = 2 points, No = 4 points)
b) Does he stay in 1st in BA? (Yes = 2 points, No = 4 points)
c) Does he catch or surpass the Brewers' Rooker in RBI? (Yes = 6 points, No = 1)
d) Does he catch or surpass the Dogs' Ohtani in HRs? (Yes = 6 points, No = 1).
